We purchased this property in a quiet development around 15 minutes outside Roscommon Town.
It’s well located, with solid rental demand, the kind of area most investors overlook, but we see real potential in.
The Property: Solid Bones, Tired Finish
This apartment was structurally sound but hadn’t been cared for in years. The condition was cosmetic, not catastrophic, perfect for a value-add renovation.
We tackled key improvements:
- Resolved bathroom drainage issues
- Replaced outdated ceiling lights
- Installed a modern storage heater
- Cleaned and refreshed the balcony
- Fixed minor leaks in the window seals
Our Renovation Approach: Lean and Tenant-Ready
Rather than over-renovate, we focused on smart, cost-effective updates that matter:
- Fresh paint throughout
- Furnished using quality second-hand furniture
- Updated lighting to brighten the space
- Kitchen was cleaned, safety-checked, and lightly upgraded
- The exterior was cleaned and resealed for a well-kept appearance
